About me
I am a French artist living between two worlds: my native France and Brazil, the country that has become my home of the heart.
My practice moves primarily through drawing, painting, and linocut printmaking, while remaining open to whatever material calls for exploration—clay, plaster, textiles, and beyond. Each medium offers a different way of thinking, feeling, and discovering.
As an art therapist, I do not approach creation as the application of predetermined compositional rules or conscious references to art history. Instead, I trust intuition. I follow emotion, sensation, and the subtle inner movement that tells me when a gesture, a colour, or a form is true. A work is complete only when every element seems to have found its inevitable place—when the inner landscape from which it emerged and the object before me resonate as one.
The beginning of every work is an act of faith. I never know where it will lead. That uncertainty is the very space in which creation becomes possible: an endless field of potential, where searching, hesitation, accident, and discovery slowly give rise to a form that feels profoundly right. Not because it explains something, but because it embodies a truth that exists beyond language.
I believe this is also how we encounter art. Certain images call to us without explanation. We feel drawn towards them before we understand why. They seem to recognise something within us, touching a place that is at once deeply intimate and strangely universal.
A painting can certainly inhabit a space as a beautiful object. Yet, when chosen with genuine feeling, it becomes something more: a mirror of our inner world, a silent companion, and a lasting reminder of what is most essential to who we are.
